Exhibition dedicated to Dostoevsky's 200th anniversary starts in Athens

The 200th anniversary of Fyodor Dostoevsky is celebrated in Athens, TASS reports. An exhibition dedicated to the great writer has opened at the Rossotrudnichestvo office. The exposition was prepared by the Dahl State Museum of the History of Russian Literature.

After the opening ceremony, a round table discussion was held in Athens. Its participants discussed the significance of the writer's work in world culture.

The director of the Museum of Literature Dmitry Bak is sure that the exhibition perfectly fits into the program of the Days of Russian Spiritual Culture, which are held in Greece. 

The Dostoevsky's work is known all over the world, celebrations dedicated to his anniversary were held throughout Russia and in many countries.

The Days of Russian Spiritual Culture opened on December 13 in the Greek capital. They were included in the program of the cross year of the history of Russia and Greece.
