Argentina is going to join the celebration of Fyodor Dostoevsky's 200th anniversary, the Rossotrudnichestvo website reports.His masterpiece Crime and Punishment will be read in different languages to celebrate this event. 

The Argentine Society of Dostoevsky, the Russian House in Buenos Aires with the assistance of the International Society of Dostoevsky and the Russian Institute of Translation are the organizers of the international action. It is scheduled for October 30 and will be held online. Representatives of different countries will read the Crime and Punishment novel live on the YouTube

Numerous events around the globe are dedicated to Dostoevsky's anniversary, which is celebrated on November 11. The solemn ceremony of awarding the Pushkin Prize in Rome was dedicated to this date. An exhibition about the life and work of the writer has opened in Copenhagen. The # Dost200 Flashmob launched in Turkey. Dostoevsky's anniverasry was also celebrated at the Vatican.
