The Russian anthem and other songs in Russian, as well as sacred music, were performed in the Sydney home of Queen Victoria at the celebration of the centenary of the founding of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia (ROCOR), according to the Rossiya Internet channel.

The holiday brought together Orthodox priests from different cities of Australia, as well as Russian compatriots and descendants of emigrants from Russia. The program was designed in such a way that everyone could hear something familiar and close. Bishop George of Canberra noted that the holiday helped ease the tension caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

The Russian Orthodox male choir of Australia sang the anthems of Russia and Australia, as well as the God Save the Tsar song. According to Nektariy Kotlyarov, it was performed from the Australian stage for the first time in a hundred years.

The celebration of the 100th anniversary of ROCOR began with a reception, which was attended by Orthodox clergy and Russian diplomats. The program also included the opening of a photo exhibition dedicated to the family of the last Russian emperor.
