The performances of the Ryazan and Northern folk choirs, known in Russia and abroad, will be shown next week on the website of the Russian Seasons international cultural project. The viewers will also see the production of the Yekaterinburg Theater of Modern Choreography - Provincial Dances.

The upcoming week program will open on May 25 with a concert of the Popov Ryazan Russian Folk Choir. The Ryazanians will show numbers from the choir’s golden collection - Russian folk songs, compositions on Sergey Esenin’s poems and dance performances.

On Wednesday, May 27, the program will be continued by one of the oldest creative groups in Russia - the Northern Russian Folk Choir from Arkhangelsk, which celebrated its 90th anniversary. The concert called The Spell on the Russian Land included the best performances in the history of the choir, which is famous for its female northern polyphony.

The performance of the Imago-Trap by the Yekaterinburg Dance Theater will be shown on May 29. The production was based on the works of Krylov and other fabulists. The director of the Russian Seasons Alexei Lebedev called the project a unique platform for teams from different regions of Russia.
