The famous Italian singer Al Bano praised the Russian Internet users for performing one of his most popular songs, Felicita, which is translated as “happiness”. The Italian pop star thanked Russia for helping Italy in the fight against coronavirus, TASS reports.

A video depicting dozens of people, alone or with family members and friends, singing Felicita went viral on Russian social networks. It became part of “Our hearts are with you - From Russia to Italy” initiative, dedicated to people in self-isolation and “the most beautiful country on the planet.”

The participants were joined by famous people, including actor Yefim Shifrin. After watching the video, Al Bano called his performance of the song perfect and virtually embraced "the whole Russian nation." The singer often performs in Russia and loves the Russian audience. Several years ago, the legendary duo of Al Bano and Romina Power reunited for a concert in Moscow.

At the end of March, Al Bano became a participant in the PoiDoma action of the Russian Auto radio. The Italian performed a medley of his songs.
