The development of the educational system in the Central African Republic (CAR) was discussed during a round table meeting, the Slovo i Delo magazine writes. Its holding was timed to the first anniversary of the signing of the Khartoum resolution. The agreement between the government and armed groups was concluded on February 1, 2019 with the active assistance of Russia. Its signing made it possible to bring peace to the African country.

In honor of this event, the CAR Ministry of Education organized a discussion entitled The Road to School, the Road to Peace. Its participants discussed the ways to solve the main problems of the educational system of the country.

The round table discussion was joined by the leaders of the Ingando organization. It was created at the initiative of the Russian mission to help restore the CAR education system.

Within the framework of the round table, the CAR Ministry of Education and Ingando signed a cooperation agreement. The country's authorities are also considering the possibility of introducing the Russian language and literature as part of the school curriculum. According to experts, this can be considered a sign of the existence of long-term plans for cooperation between states.

Experts note the introduction of the Russian language to the CAR educational system will potentially bring Russia a reliable ally in this region.
