President Vladimir Putin believes that Russia should introduce its education system abroad, open schools, Russian language courses, branches of higher educational institutions, according to the Kremlin’s website.

It’s easier for people who come to Russia from Ukraine or Belarus, since they speak Russian, know the culture and understand the existing traditions. Migrants from Central Asian countries find it much more difficult. If we help them with learning the Russian language at home, then the problem with their adaptation will be solved, the president is sure.

Consecutively, locals would not have to deal with disrespect for Russian culture and history. This also applies to internal migrants. Some of them behave as if they would not behave at home. But this does not mean that we should forbid people to move somewhere else, the president stressed.

The Russian leader recalled that three million immigrants from Ukraine live in the country. The same number arrived after the start of the conflict in the Donbass.

The problem is not an increase in the number of migrants. Shortage of labor already affects the state of the economy, Vladimir Putin emphasized. We must make sure that people moving to different regions of our common homeland feel comfortable, respect local customs and rules. We need to work in this direction, the head of state summed up.
