More than 4 thousand events took place in Russia during Night of Arts

More than four thousand events were held as part of the Night of Arts action this year, the website of the Ministry of Culture reports. The cultural and educational event became already the seventh in a row, it covered all regions of the country.

By tradition, an extensive program was organized in the capital, many events were prepared in Belgorod, Vladimir, Kemerovo, Kirov, Tyumen, Krasnodar. The Night of Arts was timed to coincide with the opening of seven virtual concert halls in Ingushetia, Bryansk, Kaluga, Kostroma, Magadan, Murmansk and Pskov. The audience was invited to theaters, museums, libraries, houses of culture, concert venues and even train stations. Cultural institutions welcomed visitors until late at night.

A million people joined the broadcasts on the Kultura.rf portal on social networks, the online coverage of the action exceeded forty million users.

Russkiy Mir reported that in Saint Petersburg, concerts were united by a lunar theme. Omsk Chamber Orchestra prepared a concert called Music in the Dark. EXPIRIENCE, during which the audience was placed in a dark room next to the musicians.

A literary and spiritual session took place in Orenburg, an exhibition dedicated to the work of Leonardo da Vinci called Leonido 3D opened in Kaliningrad. Modern technology helped guests visit the Stone Age at the Museum of Archeology in the Sochi resort of Rosa Khutor. Tauric Chersonesus National Reserve in Sevastopol also invited visitors to go back to antiquity.

The action in Pskov was dedicated to the inclusion of Pskov temples in the UNESCO World Heritage List. In Kuzbass, in the homeland of cosmonaut Alexey Leonov, guests were offered to model a spacewalk and immerse themselves in airless space.
