Night of arts took place across Russia

The All-Russian Night of Arts united all regions of the country on November 3, TASS reported.

According to the Deputy Minister of Culture Pavel Stepanov, the action took place across the whole country. More than three and a half thousand different events were planned within it. The audience was invited to theaters, museums, libraries, cultural centers, concert venues and even train stations. By tradition, cultural institutions were opened for visitors until late at night.

In Moscow, the cultural and educational action covered more than two hundred and fifty venues. Various museums, public spaces worked for visitors, special programs were organized in Tsaritsyno, Kuskovo, Kolomensky, in the Solzhenitsyn House of Russian Abroad and in many other places.

In Saint Petersburg, concerts were united by a lunar theme. Omsk Chamber Orchestra prepared a concert called Music in the Dark. EXPIRIENCE, during which the audience was placed in a dark room next to the musicians.

A literary and spiritual session took place in Orenburg, an exhibition dedicated to the work of Leonardo da Vinci called Leonido 3D opened in Kaliningrad. Modern technology helped guests visit the Stone Age at the Museum of Archeology in the Sochi resort of Rosa Khutor. Tauric Chersonesus National Reserve in Sevastopol also invited visitors to go back to antiquity.

The action in Pskov was dedicated to the inclusion of Pskov temples in the UNESCO World Heritage List. In Kuzbass, in the homeland of cosmonaut Alexey Leonov, guests were offered to model a spacewalk and immerse themselves in airless space.

Arkhangelsk Northern Maritime Museum devoted the action to the traditions of wooden shipbuilding.

The opening of seven virtual concert halls in Ingushetia, Bryansk, Kaluga, Kostroma, Magadan, Murmansk and Pskov was also timed to the Night of Arts.
