An exhibition of impressionist masterpieces from the collections of Russian museums and an exhibition of works from the collection of Ivan Morozov are to be included in Russian Seasons cultural project in France in 2020. The project can have a record audience, Russia’s Minister of Culture Vladimir Medinsky stated on arriving in Paris with a working visit, the website of the Ministry of Culture reports.

According to Medinsky, the scale of French “Russian Seasons” will be massive. The program will include performances of the Bolshoi and Mariinsky theaters, leading bands and theaters of Russia, as well as exhibitions of the largest museums in the country. Russian museums also intend to show the French art lovers many masterpieces from their collections, which rarely leave Russia.
