Russian Embassy in London presents 150 certificates of studying Russian language

More than one 150 people have received Russian language certificates, according to the Rossotrudnichestvo. They were awarded to students of the Znanie educational center which works in the British capital. The Russian world and Russkiy Mir Foundation library rooms operate there.

Children aged 12 both Russian and foreigners received the document confirming their knowledge of the Russian language.

The ceremony is held every year for fifteen years, it has become a tradition. The participants were invited to the Russian embassy. Representatives of educational institutions, British politicians, public figures etc. congratulated them.

The presentation of certificates finalized the Russian Language Week in London. Earlier Russkiy Mir reported that it started with a training in Russian language exam preparation as part of the British secondary school.

A language exhibition operated as part of the Russian Language Days. It represented the opportunities to get the Russian higher education. There was a seminar devoted to the use of mathematical skills in the Russian language study and the development of speech.

The forum also focused on current topics of teaching Russian in different countries. Participants shared their experience in teaching bilingual children.
