11 documentaries telling stories of Siberia and its people to be shown in the frames of International Ethnographic Cinema festival named after Jean Rouch. Directors from Russia, France, Sweden, Estonia will present their own view on Siberia realities in Paris on 12-14 November, Russian Observer newspaper reports. View on Siberia program welcomes its audience with a free entrance.  

Russian anthropologist and ethnologist Dmitry Artuzov will present Samodian Diary documentary which tells story of Nenets nationals during hard collectivization times in 1930s. Dreaming Souls documentary by Alexey Abaturov shows everyday life in small city of Achinsk. Some Russian films are created in collaboration with documentarists from other countries. 

Siberian Odyssey photography exhibition of Claudine Doury has opened in Parisian Academy of Arts few days before the festival started. French photographer made several expeditions in the deep of Siberia to show the genuine Siberia.
