Italian entrepreneur Marco Maggi's book, "Russian to the Bone," is now accessible for purchase in Italy and is scheduled for release in Russia in the upcoming months. In the book, Marco recounts his personal odyssey, narrating each stage of his life as a foreigner in Russia—starting from the initial fascination to the process of cultural assimilation, venturing into business, fostering authentic friendships, and ultimately, reaching a deep sense of identifying as a Russian at his very core. Best landscape photographs made by Russian winners of the Most Beautiful Country photo contest are exhibited in La Plata Legislative Assembly, Argentina.
50 works were brought to Argentina with support of the Russian Embassy in Argentina. The Most Beautiful Country contest was organised by Russian Geography Society.
Various Russian regions, such as Crimea, central Russia, Urals, Siberia, Far East are presented at the exhibition. Everyday life and traditions and customs, animals in their natural habitat and other topics are on the view.
The exhibition to be open until November, 2. Afterwards it will travel around other Argentinian cities. The contest is held by Russian Geography Society since 2015, and it aims to protect the wild nature.
