About 50% Western countries' residents don't trust what media writes about Russia. That was proved by survey results commissioned by IA Sputnik.

53% of French residents, 50% of Germans, 47% of the British and 43% respondents from the US have no doubt that media create non-objective image of our country.

Quarter of French citizens and a third of British. 39%  German and overseas respondents are positive about media credibility.

Research has also confirmed that German and French youth is much more sceptical than older generation. Meanwhile, in Britain and United States the situation is opposite — older people are much more skeptical about local media than youth.
