Warsaw's falsification history politics has regrettably resulted in vandals' attacks on graves of Soviet soldiers perished during the liberation of Poland from the Nazis. It is outlined in Russia's MFA statement regarding cemetery desecrating in Jelenia Gora, TASS reports. More than 20 monuments were vandalized.

Russian Foreign Ministry has marked that all the damage is liquidated for now, and investigation is started. However, the problem is still unresolved. The Ministry calls this crime “an outrageous example of barbarous practices against our memorial heritage in Poland.

However, Warsaw assures that the burials remain under the protection of Polish authorities that owe obligations to Russia.

This attack is not just disgusting act of local thugs but a shameful outcome of Warsaw's actions that destabilize moral values. Russian MFA has demanded to find vandals as soon as possible and punish them.

As Russkiy Mir reported, the largest number of vandalism cases to Soviet soldier's memorials is recorded in Poland. For the first half of 2018 more than 30 attacks on monuments took place there. 26 memorials were dismantled.
