Flowers of Russia festival held in Milan and Turin

Flowers of Russia festival starts today, October 11, in Italy. The festival dedicated to gifted kids will take place in two northern cities, Milan and Turin. Russian Souvenir concert to open the celebration. Young Russian laureates of music contests will appear on stage. 

Round table dedicated to teaching Russian as a second language in Italy and Italian as a Second language in Russia will be held in Milan University. The forum involves leading linguists from both countries. 

Meanwhile, soloist of the ballet troupe of Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Moscow Academic Music Theatre Alexey Lubimov will conduct ballet master class at the Ballet Academy at the La Scala Theater. Russian actor Alexey Shimko to give an acting class based on his own method at Piccolo Teatro. 

The festival will proceed in Turin this weekend. Locals will see a show by music theater Domisolka. Demmeni Puppet Theater from St. Petersburg  will show Dolls and Clowns play. Russia through the Child's Eyes exhibition of the young photographers' works to complete the event.
