Around 1 % of the US population only agree that possible Russia’s meddling with the presidential elections two years ago is an important issue, according to the poll conducted by the American Institute  of Public Opinion Gallup, Gazeta.ru informs.

Thus, the question of the alleged meddling of Russia with the American elections, in fact, is trivial for the country’s population despite ongoing and vivid interest of the US mainstream mass media in this topic.

In opinion of Americans, the faulty country leadership and actions of the authorities is the most acute issue for them. Almost 20 percent of the respondents marked this as the main problem.

The second place belongs to the ill economics of the US. 15 percent of the respondents voted for this problem. Another 14 percent of the polls’ participants are worried about the problems of immigrants and migration overall. 7 percent more referred to racism as the main difficulty existing in the country at the moment.
