The Russian documentary about children – heroes of Russia will be screened at the Cannes’ Film Festival, RIA Novosti informs.

Not Time for Heroism was shot by the Young Guard of United Russia in 2017 for the Defenders of Motherland Day. The movie was nominated as a short-length movie at The 71st Cannes Film Festival.

The organizers have mentioned that other nominees of Short Film Center will be presented at the e-library and catalogues of the festival. The movie Not Time for Heroism survived the serious cut to be selected as a participant and a nominee of the Cannes Film Festival.

The movie represents a firsthand story about the deeds performed by children. The Young Guard of the United Russia expressed hope that common children and simple citizens who did not lose nerve in the complicated circumstances and performed heroic deeds will become examples for their peers.
