Vienna hosts the 1st Russian-Austrian Economic Dialogue

Conoscere Eurasia Association (Getting to Know Eurasia), which once supported establishing the Russian Center in Verona, Italy, initiated Russian-Austrian seminars. The workshops are to take place in Vienna on April 26 and in a resort city of Almdorf on April 27, 2018. Co-organizers of these workshops are International World Foundation represented by Chairman of the Advisory Board of Prince Albert von Lichtenstein and Roscongress Foundation, Inteza bank, Centracore Energy Gmbh and Russian Embassy in Austria. The Executive Director of the Russkiy Mir Foundation Vladimir Kochin is going to take part in the workshops.

Conoscere Eurasia Association was established by the Honored Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Verona in 2007. Its task is to develop relations between Italy and Russia, European Union and Eurasian Economic Union by means of organizing conferences and workshops on the top level in different countries.

Participants of the 1st Russian-Australian Economic Dialogue in Vienna are to discuss the role of Austria and Russia in development of political and economic relations between Europe and Eurasia. In particular, experts will focus on perspectives of the international integration, building versatile collaboration of members of the Eurasian Economic Union and European Union countries, its international structures and enterprises, as well as possibilities for broadening cooperation between Russia and Austria in the field of geopolitics, energetics and finances. Russian and Austrian diplomats, politicians, officials of different levels, representatives of business communities from both countries are going to take part at the workshops.

The focus of the attention in Almdorf will be humanitarian and cultural cooperation between the European Union and Eurasian Economic Union countries. Delegates from Austria, Russia, Italy, Belarus, San Marino, The Baltic States - Bosnia and Hercegovina, Kosovo, Macedonia, Croatia, Montenegro and Mongolia are going to make presentations at the seminars. Among the participants are influential politicians, top officials and business elite representatives.
