London is destroying important evidence on Skripal case, Russian Embassy in London believes. In particular, Western mass media proclaimed the authorities’ intention to pull down all buildings involved in the incident, including the house where Sergei Skripal lived, The Mill pub and Zizzi restaurant in Saulsberry where the father and the daughter had their meals at the day of the attempted poisoning, RIA Novosti reports.

According to the Russian diplomat, something similar already happened in this case – instant cremation of Skripal’s pets and disappearance of the bench where the victims were found.

Russian Embassy is assured that the local authorities are putting every single effort so that Russia would not get access to even the slightest evidence. Besides, London does not provide any information on the course of the investigation or samples of the substance used for the attempted poisoning.

British Prime Minister Theresa May in tandem with British Foreign Minister Boris Johnson brought charges against Russia almost a month ago and there was not any single evidence provided over all of this time.

Russian diplomats are sure that London has excluded any possibility for independent and transparent investigation, which might have negative impact on the country’s image.

Russian Embassy has sent a notice to the British Foreign Ministry requesting to clarify new details on this case. Besides, diplomats called non-convincing the information from the mass media sources that the message sent from Syria allegedly connected to Skripal case was intercepted and they called moving Sergei and Yulia Skripal to a third country for living the violation of the international law.
