London goes on a provocation throwing accusations against Russia about its alleged meddling with poisoning of former Russian intelligence officer Sergei Skripal and his daughter in UK, according to the statement of the official spokesperson of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova, RIA Novosti informs.

She called the speech of British Prime Minister Theresa May a circus. Diplomat has added that before throwing another portion of false accusations, UK did not take efforts to provide wide audience with results of investigations of other weird deaths of Russians in Great Britain.

Russian Foreign Ministry is also sure that Great Britain aims at disrupting trust in Russia immediately before FIFA World Cup. Russian diplomats have many times warned that western mass media are going to kick off a wide campaign directed at discrediting Russia right before the beginning of the championship.

The embassy has underlined that, as expected, the most active role would be played by the British. The reason is clear: they are still angry with Russia that the right to conduct FIFA World Cup belongs to our country and not UK as a result of an honest competition.

Russian Foreign Ministry has reminded that English mass media kicked up a fuss demanding to boycott the tournament followed by the UK officials. In particular, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson talked about this.

In opinion of the diplomats, Skripal’s poisoning became another reason to wage an informational war. Ministry has emphasized that the investigation on this case has not been started yet.

British Prime Minister Theresa May has claimed the day before that the ex-spy was poisoned with neuro-paralytic substance. In her words, “there is high probability” that Russia has something to do with it.

May has proposed an ultimatum that Moscow should give detailed explanations concerning this case until the end of the day of March 13. Otherwise, the British Prime Minister has threatened that “more serious measures” will be taken towards Russia. A session of the British Council for National Security “on Skripal’s case” is scheduled for tomorrow, after that Theresa May is going to reveal the planned measures against Russia to the Parliament.
