Moscow is not going to accept results of the investigation on Skripal case if Russian specialists are not involved in it, according to Russia’s Permanent Representative to the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, Alexander Shulgin.

In his words, experts of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons must investigate the structure of substance used for an attempted poisoning of ex-Russian intelligence officer and the former British spy, RIA Novosti informs.

They cannot name the country producing this substance or impose responsibility on anybody for this accident.

Russian Foreign Ministry has also directed a list of 13 questions on this case to the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons.

Russia is interested in the information sent by the British authorities to the technical secretariat of the Organization and if they inform the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons on the course of the investigation of this accident.

Besides, Moscow inquires if the secretariat is going to provide data received from London to the executive committee of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, which includes Russia.

Russia is calling UK to explain what exactly Great Britain is going to prove: either the fact of using the neuro-paralytic substance or the fact that this substance was Novichok.

Moscow is going to make a proposition of assistance in investigating the accident during the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons’ executive committee specialized meeting appointed at request of the Russian Federation.

Russia points out that Moscow is as interested in finding out the truth as UK is.
