The author of Loveless will direct first ever Paramount studious major Russian-language television series, IA Interfax informs.

According to the producer Alexander Rodnyansky who's going to take part in the new project as well, the genre of the future series can be called the psychological thriller.The place of action is Moscow, and the plot would expand on an unexplored side story from one of Zvyagintsev’s films.

Let us remember, Loveless by Zvyagintsev is nominated for Oscars as a Foreign Language Film. Its world premier took place in the frames of 70th Cannes festival. Loveless has already collected impressive quantity of prizes, including Cannes jury prize, European Film Academy's awards, BAFTA London International Film Festival, etc.
