Interstate Aviation Committee: An-148 had problems 2,5 minutes after take-off

14.02.2018

The Interstate Aviation Committee has competed decoding data of the parametric recorder of an An-148 plane naming one of the air crash possible reasons, RIA Novosti reports.

As per the specialists, faults started in 2,5 minutes after the take-off when the plane was 1300 meters high accelerating up to 470 km per hour.

Modules of the air parameters started showing different data. The reason of the divergence might be frozen total pressure heads in combination with switched off heat systems. That is why the devices fixed different flight velocities. The experts wait for the voice recorder’s decoding.

The first version of the air crash is explosion of the fuel tanks.

The Saratov Airlines, which used to own the plane, state that the aircraft was in good order and passed all standard checking procedures. The air company withdrew all An-148 planes from service and changed them for other planes.

As the Russkiy Mir reported earlier, an An-148 plane of Saratov Airlines flying from Moscow Domodedovo Airport to Orsk crashed several minutes after the take-off.

71 people died. Among victims were 68 Russians and 3 nationals from other countries.
