Organizers of the festival invite animation fans to visit ZIL Cultural Center where numerous lectures, master-classes and creative meetings with animated film directors, in particular, with genius animated cartoon artist Yuri Nortstein will be arranged. Parents with their children will be able to watch animated series and even to produce their own cartoons. Organizers prepared a programme for children (+6) and adults (+18).

It is noteworthy that two gala opening ceremonies of the festival were planned this year, one of them happened the day before. Young spectators watched a full version of the cartoon Fixies: The Big Secret. Today, at the International Animation Day, the international festival programme opening ceremony took place in the cinema theatre Kapo 11 Oktyabr. The best cartoons bringing various prizes from other festivals were presented at the Winners’ specialized section.
The Major Animated Cartoon Festival is to finish on November 6 at the cinema theatre Cosmos where that awarding ceremony of the winners will be held.
