Bulgarian schoolkids met Russian cosmonauts

Flickr/ NASA JohnsonRussian-Bulgarian forum “Nations Dialogue” took place in Sofia, Russian Bulgaria website reports. The main issue becomes international collaboration in the high technologies sphere in cosmos exploration.

High schoolers, college students, teachers and scientists have gathered in Russian diplomatic mission. A presentation was made by the guest speaker Russian cosmonaut Mikhail Kornienko.

The videoconference with International Space Station was the most interesting part of the meeting. Young Bulgarians met online the spaceship crew – Sergey Ryazansky and Alexander Misurkin, who answered all kinds of questions, starting with private ones and ending up with technical and scientific. The audience have learned what dreams cosmonauts see and how microorganisms grow in microgravity conditions.

At the end of the meeting participants have received autograph of Mikhail Kornienko and took pictures with the cosmonaut.
