Ovechkin leads NHL team Washington Capitals; he is also included in the National Hockey team. The athlete has made 14 million dollars, RIA Novosti reports.
Russian pop singer Phillip Kirkorov takes the second place with his 7,5 mln dollars wealth. The most rich chanson singer Grigory Leps who has managed to make 6 mln dollars, completes the top three.
Besides Ovechkin, there are two more very well-doing hockey players that also work overseas. The sixth place is taken by Pittsburg forward Eugene Malkin and the eighth place by Columbus goalkeeper Sergey Bobrovsky.
