Eifman Ballet press-service
Eifman Ballet turns 40 years old this year. In honor of its anniversary new US tour is going on now, with updated premier staging of the Red Gizelle ballet. It's worth mentioning that the troupe has performed Red Gizelle for the first time in US 20 years ago.

Dedicated as a tribute to Russian ballerina Olga Spessivtseva, Red Giselle tells the story of this outstanding artist whose greatest role was Giselle.

Another performance named Tchaikovsky. Pro et Contra based on Great Russian composer's life story, will be also presented to an American audience.

Boris Eifman had mentioned that it's not possible to explain the Russian soul but it's possible to express the deep side of it through the movement.

The tour organizer, Sergey Daniliants is happy to bring the Eifman ballet once again, since it makes US audience very happy, and most of the shows sold-out already. He has stressed that judging by the level of performance this theater undoubtedly stands in the first line, along with Mariinsky and Bolshoi theaters.
