Compatriots to choose Miss Russia–Australia in Sidney

Photo: The Unity Newspaper, SydneyBeauty contest “Miss Russia – Australia” started in Sidney. The main purpose of the contest is to promote Russian culture and popularize Russian way of life and traditions in Australia. 

The contest terms are very democratic. All Russian-speaking women from Russia and the former USSR are eligible to apply. There are no other prerequisites or appearance requirements. The main task of the participants is to show themselves and present Russian culture in a favorable light. 

A contest winner will have an opportunity to take part in various civil activities arranged in Australia. Miss Russia–Australia will become an ambassador of Russian culture in Australia to the certain extent. Winners will get valuable prizes costing from 500 to 1000 Australian dollars, and a unique chance to be introduced to the world of fashion.
