The Russian animated series Malyshariki, intended for children under three years of age, have reached three billion views in China. Three seasons of the show are available for the Chinese audience. Malyshariki shows the characters of another popular animated series, Smeshariki, in early childhood, RIA Novosti reports.

According to project producer Alexander Artemyev, Malyshariki is liked by viewers who speak different languages and have a different cultural code, since the animated series contributes to the full development of the child. Each issue is based on a lesson that is taught in a playful and musical way.

Other Russian animated series are also popular in China. On March 12, Chinese Central Television launched screenings of the animated series Masha and the Bear, which had previously gained popularity in Chinese paid online streaming services.
