Italy to host Days of Moscow

The days of the Russian capital will begin next week in Italy. The festival starts on September 18, Rossiyskaya Gazeta reports. The three cities - Merano, Florence and Bari – will take part in it. The Moscow delegation led by Sergei Cheryomin, Moscow Government Minister and Head of the Department for Foreign Economic Activity and International Relations, will conduct negotiations with the Italian provinces and cities heads.

The business program will include round tables, discussions on key issues such as the volunteers work organization, interaction in public health and pharmaceuticals.

In addition, there will be a meeting with compatriots living in Italy. In the Nadezhda Borodina Russian Center in Merano the Russian capital representatives will discuss with them the social networks promotion of compatriots' actions and organizations.

Moscow artists will also come in Italy. The Winter Rose ballet will be shown in Bari. The Moscow Theater New Ballet is based on the Nightingale and the Rose tale by Oscar Wilde. The Sretensky Monastery Choir will perform in legendary Basilica of St. Nicholas.

The famous Russian grandmaster Anatoly Karpov will take part in the chess tournament in Merano. The exhibition devoted to the history and contemporary Moscow will also be in the program.
