The Russian Pyatnitsky folk choir performed in Morocco for the first time, TASS reports. The choir took to the main stage of the capital the day before, on December, 25. The audience gave a very warm welcome to the singers, who performed folk songs and contemporary Russian composers. The dancers were also greeted with a standing ovation.

The head of the Russian House, Alexander Sen, believes that the concert was an excellent gift on the eve of the New Year holidays for both local residents and Russian compatriots living in the country.

The musicians and singers noted that, judging by the reaction of the audience, they managed to touched the hearts of the listeners. They worked with pleasure, trying to bring joy to people.

The Pyatnitsky Choir has another performance ahead. The concert will take place on December, 26 in Casablanca.
