Russian folk dances performed on New York streets

Kalinka-Malinka and other Russian folk songs were sung in one of the central squares of New York, First Regional reports. Dancers in national costumes performed Russian folk dances. 

Earlier in Karlsruhe, Germany, the Christmas market on the main square started with performances by Russian-speaking singers. They sang folk songs ''Black Eyes'' and ''On the Troika with Bells.'' Residents of the city, who came from the former republics of the USSR, including Ukraine, sang along with the singers.

A charity Slavic fair took place in the suburbs of the capital of Tunisia. Guests could view and buy products of various crafts and handicraft techniques made by Russian compatriots.
