The international Kremlin charity cadet ball took place in Moscow on December, 16 in support of the special military operation. Students from cadet educational institutions, as well as guests from more than ten countries, came to Moscow to participate in the event, TASS reports.

About 1,500 students from Suvorov and Nakhimov schools, schools with cadet classes, patriotic clubs and social institutions from 84 regions of Russia took part in the ball.

In addition, delegations from the UAE, Syria, Sri Lanka, Qatar, Bolivia and other countries came to Moscow. In the capital, a rich cultural program was organized for guests with excursions and visits to Moscow museums.

The head of the project, Yulia Kirpichnikova, noted that the international cadet ball reflects the ideas of ''friendship based on cultural and national traditions,'' as well as universal values.

This year the ball was held in support of the special millitary operation. It was noted that the fathers of many cadets serve in the Northern Military District zone. Students wrote letters to Russian soldiers.

The Cadet Ball has been held in the Russian capital since 2016, the project is organized with the participation of the Administration of the President of Russia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Defense of Russia, as well as other ministries and departments.
