The Grand Prix of the Sport Film Festival was won by ''Lev Yashin. The Goalkeeper of My Dreams,'' TASS reports. More than 150 films were included in the program of the film forum held in Sicily. They represented 40 countries.

The film was directed by Vasily Chiginsky and starred Alexander Fokin. About 1,000 people took part in the filming.

Lev Yashin was one of the most titled football players in Russian sports. His awards include Olympic gold, gold and silver medals at the European Championships, and dozens of other awards. In 1963, Yashin was recognized as the best football player in Europe, becoming the first goalkeeper to receive this award. The achievement has not been repeated by anyone to this day. For more than 20 years he played as part of the Moscow Dynamo football team. Yashin defended the gates of the Soviet national team from 1954 to 1967. His awards include the Order of Lenin and the Red Banner of Labor. In 1990 he was awarded the title of ''Hero of Socialist Labor.''

Lev Yashin died in 1990 at the age of 60. He was buried at the Vagankovskoye cemetery.
