Russia to present more than 60 projects at international film market in Japan

More than 60 Russian films, cartoons, TV series and documentaries will be presented at the TIFFCOM international film market in Japan. This is the first large-scale presence of Russia in one of the most respected film markets in Asia. It will open on October, 25 as part of the Tokyo International Film Festival, TASS reports.

13 Russian film companies and studios will present their products at the film market. At the Russian Content Worldwide stand, guests will be able to get acquainted with the most successful films in Russian distribution, as well as major projects that are being prepared for release.

Among them are such films as Cheburashka, Lord of the Wind, Centaur, Challenge, Bullfinch, At the Pike's Behest and many others. Roskino noted that Russian producers would present features, TV series, documentaries and cartoons. 

The Tokyo International Film Festival will open on October, 23. The competition program includes Air by Russian director Alexei German Jr. The world premiere of the film is planned in Tokyo.
