Vietnamese schoolchildren compete in Russian language skills

Vietnamese schoolchildren are taking part in the Russian language Olympiad, according to the Russian Ministry of Education and Science's Telegram channel. The tournament is organised by the Pushkin State Institute of Russian Language and its Hanoi branch.

The competition consists of two stages. Eighty people took part in the first round. They completed the tasks in the online format. The finalists will compete in person.

The names of the winners to be announced at the Modern Strategies in Learning and Teaching Russian as a Foreign Language conference at the end of November. The forum is timed to the anniversary of the branch of the Pushkin Institute in Vietnam, established 40 years ago. The best Russian language experts will take part in the Pushkin Institute Summer School.
