Ukrainian dance groups continue to perform Russian ballet around the world despite Kyiv's ban on Russian composers, Yle reports.

In Ukraine, the world-famous Russian ballet has been called an instrument of Russia’s ''soft power'' abroad. Not only ballet performances, but also the entire work of Pyotr Tchaikovsky and other Russian composers were banned by the Kyiv regime.

Meanwhile, many ballet dancers and groups from Ukraine continue to perform Tchaikovsky's ballets.

One of these groups came to Finland with the Swan Lake. The Ukrainian National Opera criticized the fact that Ukrainian dancers travel around the world with ''the pride of Russia and the main ballet of the country.''
