The International Competition of Young Vocalists ''Melody of My Russia'' has started accepting applications. Participants aged from 5 to 21 will perform songs in Russian, auditions will be held in Moscow and Genoa, the Russian House telegram channel reports.
Contestants will be able to show their abilities in categories such as solo singing and vocal ensemble. The performance program should include the performance of a song about Russia or on a military and patriotic theme.
The creative competition will be held in two rounds. The starting stage will last from December, 21 to December, 28, and the full-time stage will last from February, 2 to February, 4 next year. For foreigners, live auditions will take place in April in Genoa. It is noted that master classes, visits to the Russian National Museum of Music and other events are planned for the finalists of the Moscow stage.
The ''Melody of My Russia'' competition will be held for the 2nd time. The first competition was a great success with the support of the Russian Consulate General in Genoa and the Russian Cultural Center in Rome.
