The Day of Solidarity in the Fight against Terrorism was celebrated in Russia on September, 3, RIA Novosti reports. It was established in 2005 in memory of the tragedy in Beslan. This day also commemorates the victims of terrorist attacks and law enforcement officers who gave their lives in the line of duty.

The three-day Memory Watch, timed to coincide with the 19th anniversary of the tragic events in Beslan School No. 1, ended yesterday in North Ossetia. The names of all the victims of the terrorist attack were read out. The participants laid flowers at the Tree of Sorrow monument and the monument that commemorates the feat of the fighters of the Alpha and Vympel special forces units.

In 2004, during a school assembly dedicated to the Day of Knowledge, terrorists seized school No. 1 in Beslan. Armed people kept adults and children at school for three days. The hostages received neither water nor food. More than 300 people died. More than half of them are children.

A memorial service was held in Moscow for the dead. It took place in the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary on Kulishki. Many flowers were brought to the monument to the victims of the terrorist act, which is installed in front of the temple. After a moment of silence, 334 white balloons were released into the sky according to the number of dead.

In Chisinau, flowers were brought to the building of the Russian embassy. Residents of the city, representatives of the Ossetian community of Moldova, and the employees of the Russian House came to commemorate the victims.

Young residents of Donetsk laid flowers at the monument on the Alley of Angels. They honored the memory of the children who died from the terrorist actions of the Kyiv regime. The protesters noted that children continue to die. A six-year-old girl died in Donetsk three days ago from another shelling by Ukrainian troops.
