Russian and Indian polar explorers played football in Antarctica

Builder's Day, along with other Russians, was celebrated by polar explorers in Antarctica, MIR 24 reports. The holiday is celebrated in Russia by those who are related to the construction industry on August, 13.

The polar explorers timed a football match for this day. The rivals of the Russian polar explorers were their colleagues from the Indian Bharati station. The game took place at the Progress station, it was not prevented by a 30-degree frost and a wind that reached a speed of 13 meters per second. The representatives of the two countries competed in tug of war. After the competition, the participants had a friendly picnic.

The builders of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan also celebrated their professional holiday.
