Foreign seminarians took part in restoration of Russian churches

Seminarians of the St. Petersburg Theological Academy and foreign students of the Department of Russian as a Foreign Language of the Moscow Pedagogical State University took part in the restoration of Orthodox churches in the Moscow and Yaroslavl regions, Metropolitan Leonid Klinsky, Patriarchate Exarch of Africa, reports on his telegram channel.

Young students of Russian universities, including those from African countries, visited the Tolgsky Monastery and the Assumption Cathedral in Yaroslavl, assisted in the restoration of the Metochion of the Staritsky Assumption Monastery in Glebova Hermitage at the Church of the Epiphany and the Church of St. Ignatius the God-bearer in the village of Borovitsy near Rostov Veliky. The journey also included the temples of the Moscow region.

Earlier, deacons from Uganda took part in the restoration of the Intercession Church in the Moscow region. In particular, they participated in the painting of the cathedral. They came to Russia to study courses for the clergy.
