The Africa House Northwest will strengthen the interaction between Russia, African countries and other friendly states, TASS reports. The new site began to work in St. Petersburg the day before, on July, 26. The opening ceremony was timed to coincide with the Russia-Africa summit.

Speaker of the City Legislative Assembly Alexander Belsky recalled that many countries are represented at the forum at a high level. But, according to him, it is very important that there is a permanent platform that will make it possible to promote integration processes in all areas, from diplomacy to trade.

The House of Africa is set to become a platform for sharing experiences, discussing new ideas, and strengthening ties.
