Days of Russian Culture completed program of Cross Year of Russia and Vietnam

The Days of Russian Culture in Vietnam became the final event of the Cross Year of Russia and Vietnam, which was opened in 2019 by the presidents of the two countries. The parties noted that the events held by Russia revealed a high interest in Russian culture among the local population, the website of the Russian Ministry of Culture reports.

The Days of Russian Culture started on July, 10 at the Hanoi Opera House, the program included concerts and exhibitions aimed at introducing the Vietnamese to the culture of the peoples of Russia. On July, 12,  the forum moved to Halong.

The Minister of Culture of Russia Olga Lyubimova, in her message to the participants of the Days, noted that cultural exchanges contribute to strengthening ties between Russia and Vietnam. Vietnam's Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong noted that Russian culture enjoys interest and love in Vietnam. According to him, the program of the Days made it possible to get acquainted not only with the history and culture of Russia, but also with the modern life of the country.
