Journalists and tour operators from Iran will be invited on trip to North Caucasus

Tour operators, journalists and photographers from Iran will be able to get acquainted with the sights of the North Caucasus as part of a tour of Russian regions. The itinerary was agreed upon at a meeting between the Executive Director of the Kavkaz.RF Development Institute Hasan Timizhev and Economic Adviser to the Iranian Ambassador to Russia Mohammad Izadi, TASS reports.

The Russian Institute noted that the tour of the North Caucasus Federal District for the delegation from Iran is being organized with the aim of showing guests the natural beauties, culture and tourism potential of the North Caucasus.

The Kavkaz.RF organization stressed that the trip would give a start to the development of cooperation between Russia and Iran in the field of tourism. An important step in this direction was the Memorandum of Cooperation between Iran, the Kavkaz.RF Development Institute and the Russian-Iranian Business Council at the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry signed at the recent St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
