Plekhanov Russian University of Economics to cooperate with Argentinean university

Russian universities continue to strengthen cooperation with colleagues from Argentina, RIA Novosti reports. Interaction in the educational and scientific fields will be developed by the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics and the National University of Tucuman. Representatives of the universities signed the corresponding agreement within the framework of the Week of Russian Education.

According to Olga Muratova, who heads the representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo, the universities will work cooperate in scientific research and create joint educational programs. There are also plans to hold scientific forums.

Russian universities are increasingly interested in Latin American countries, Muratova says. Several more documents on the promotion of interuniversity cooperation will be signed soon, she added.

The popularity of the Russian language is growing in Argentina, many residents of the country want to know the language, are interested in the vast riches of Russian culture. Arturo Khachurete University has already begun to select a Russian language teacher. It can be one of the compatriots living in Argentina, or they can invite a specialist from Russia.
