Iranian Space Agency delegation visits Samara university

The Iranian Space Agency is interested in cooperation with Korolev Samara University in the field of training specialists for aerospace technologies. Representatives of the agency stated this during their visit to Samara, Interfax reports.

A delegation led by Deputy Head of the Iranian Space Agency Mojtab Abolghasemi Najaf Abadi arrived in the Russian region. Representatives of the organization got acquainted with how the Samara university trains specialists involved in space exploration.

The guests showed interest in the educational programs of the Samara University for the training of students and experienced professionals. The deputy head of the Iranian space agency noted that last year the agency signed an agreement with Roscosmos, which gave rise to the development of cooperation. 

Vladimir Bogatyrev, Rector of Samara University, spoke about the international activities of the educational institution. In particular, the university implements English-language programs developed according to the standards of the UN Committee on Outer Space. Their first graduates were the Myanmar Space Center engineers. The Russian university is ready to offer individual educational programs for friendly countries.
