HSE Representative Office to appear in Indonesia

The representative office of the National Research Institute Higher School of Economics - St. Petersburg (NRU HSE) will appear in Indonesia. The office will operate at the Surabaya University of Technology, TASS reports. ITS is almost always in the top of the best universities in the country.

Russian and Indonesian universities agreed when  Anna Tyshetskaya, Director of St. Petersburg NRU HSE, visited Jacarta. In her opinion, this will be another step towards the development of interaction with colleagues from Indonesia. The office will make it possible to acquaint local students, teachers and many others with the opportunities provided by national higher education.

In addition, the St. Petersburg university will also develop new formats of cooperation with Thai universities. In particular, student exchanges will begin with Mahidol University and joint scientific research will be carried out.

The creation of centers of open education in Russian in Indonesia became one of the main topics of discussion between the Russian and Indonesian sides during the visit of the delegation of the Astafyev Krasnoyarsk State Pedagogical University to the republic. The rector of the Krasnoyarsk university, Maria Kholina, noted that at the ministerial and university levels of Indonesia there is an interest in learning the Russian language and the demand for Russian education.
