Russian animated series released on 20 major Internet platforms in China

The Chuch-Myauch Russian animated series, released by the Soyuzmultfilm film studio, will be avaialble to Chinese viewers. It will be screened on 20 Chinese online services, including Internet TV channels and the largest streaming platforms Tencent and Youku, TASS reports.

Chuch-Myauch is a short animated story about the girl Marus and the cat Meow, who can make wishes come true. The cartoon is intended for pre-school kids. 

The streaming platforms, which included the Russian animated series in their programs, have a total viewership of more than a million visitors per month.

The CEO of Soyuzmultfilm, Yuliana Slashcheva, noted that the series reflects the animation traditions of the film studio. It teaches children friendship, kindness, mutual assistance. Slashcheva called Chuch-Myauch "a bright project in the film studio's portfolio."
