The Eurasian Economic Forum (EEF) starts on Wednesday, May, 24, in Moscow. It is timed to coincide with the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council with the participation of the heads of state of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and observer states.

The aim of the forum is to improve ties in the Eurasian space, to discuss the most relevant and demanded issues of the development of the EAEU and its interaction with key partners.

More than 2,700 people will take part in the business program, including entrepreneurs, representatives of government and international organizations, and journalists. About 35 business sessions are planned. Among the foreign guests are representatives of 54 states.

The forum will be held over two days. The President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin is expected to speak at the plenary session. The main topic will be Eurasian integration in a multipolar world. The meeting participants will discuss the activities of the EAEU in the international arena, as well as the development of contacts in trade and the economy. The Russian leader also has several bilateral meetings scheduled.

The EAEU includes Russia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Armenia. In 2023, Russia is taking the chair.
